As part of a Networking event I Attended an half hour program on leadership coaching by an eminent executive coach shuttling between US and India.
Informative and full of excellent inspiring nuggets. He brought out the difference between Coaching and Mentoring in a very distinct manner. Besides his stories were quite engrossing.
Also he Was quite convincing in the need for a coach to enhance ones career prospects. Now that has become one of my tasks on the to do list – to get a career coach.
but, on the down side – i guess he was not the right guy for the audience as his understanding of HR and especially HR in Manufacturing was quite limited. + he seemed to not to know when to stop.
there is something called too much of a good thing.
