A common problem we face among candidates is lack of effective Goal Setting. they either set very high unrealistic goals and set themselves up for failure . Or they set very low goals or no goals at all.
If you want a career with good prospects of advancement, you need to choose a field that offers a wide range of opportunity, not one that is in decline with little or no scope for personal advancement.
And finally, before you set the Career Goal be mindful of how much effort and time you are willing to invest in reaching the goal. Their will be challenges and failures along the way which need to be faced and overcome. All of which will put a huge demand on you. Be conscious of these sacrifices.
